Biography

Dr. D. Ravi Assistant Professor of English with an excellent track record of teaching and trained professional and non-professional students for more than 16 years.Got doctoral degree from The English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, for his thesis on Turn-Taking in Group Discussion: Developing Politeness Strategies of Engineering Students. Obtained master’s degree from Nizam College, Osmania University, Hyderabad. Did several online courses from world removed universities like University of California, Irvine., Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Griffith University. Australia etc. Designed courses in Enlgish for M.Tech and B.Tech students. Has dealt with variety of subjects for like English Literature, English Language, Professional Ethics English Language and Communication Skills, Advanced English and Communication Skills, Communicative English and Multimedia Aided Language, Gender Sensitization, Business Communication and Soft Skills English for Research Paper Writing, Academic Writing, English Language Enrichment, English Proficiency, English for Enhanced Competence etc. for under graduate and post graduate heterogeneous students. Acted as a member of the Board of Studies. Contributes for research as a Co-supervisor for Shri Jagdishrasad Jhabarmal Tibrewala University (SJJTU), Rajasthan, India. Played his role as a resource person for national and international FDPs, workshps and conferences. Took part as a jury member for various State-level completions. Apart from writing research papers for national and international journal, he attended and presented research articles in several national and international conferences.
