Biography

Dr. N. Mangala Gouri retired from ECE dept., JNTUHCEH as an Associate Professor (2003-19). Currently, she serves as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Anurag University, Hyderabad. She has 13 years of industrial experience as a Technical manager in ECIL, Hyderabad (1987 –2000) and 20 years of teaching experience in various academic institutions. Guided about 50 B.Tech projects and 40 M.Tech projects. She is also senior member of various professional chapters.

Research Interests

Dr. N. Mangala Gouri has research experience in different domains of Optical communications and Fiber Optic Sensors, VLSI System design. Proficient in Analog/Digital/Mixed signal circuit simulation software like, Multisim of Electronics workbench, PSPICE, Proteus. Experienced in PCB layout software like, EAGLE, Cadstar, Viewlogic, Ultiboard. Experienced in Schematic capture and netlist generation using Orcad. Experienced in Microsoft Office and graphical analysis using Origin 6.1. Conversant with VHDL simulation using Active HDL6.3 and Modelsim, Simulation and synthesis using Altera MAXPLUS II, XILINX 9.2i. Familiar with Virtual instrumentation and Data acquisition with Labview software.

Teaching Interests

Dr. N. Mangala Gouri has teaching experience of nearly 20 years in various academic positions. She has expertise in subjects such as Network Analysis, Basic Electronics, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Switching Theory & Logic Design, EM Waves and Transmission Lines, Microwave Engineering, Analog Electronics, Analog Communications, Digital Communications, Linear & Digital IC Applications, Electronic Circuit Analysis, Data and Computer Communications, Optical Communications and Radar Engineering. The PG courses: Digital Data Communications, Advanced Communications, Digital System Design, Design of Fault Tolerant Systems, Coding Theory and Techniques, CPLD and FPGA Programming and Applications.
