OIPM (Office of Intellectual Property Management), is the office devoted to Anurag University’s thriving innovation and intellectual property. At the Office of Intellectual Property Management (OIPM), we foster innovation and protect intellectual assets. Our mission is to support and guide individuals, startups, and external organizations in navigating the complex intellectual property (IP) law landscape, ensuring that creative, technological, and business advancements are safeguarded and leveraged to their fullest potential.
What OIPM Offers
- IP Education and Awareness: Organize workshops and seminars to educate the university community about various aspects of IP, such as patents, copyright licensing, and commercialization benefits.
- IP Protection & Filing: Assisting in identifying and securing patents, copyrights, and other forms of intellectual property for university inventions, research, and creative works.
- IP Strategy & Consultation: Developing customized intellectual property strategies that align with the university’s research, innovation, and business objectives, ensuring the protection and value optimization of IP assets.
- Technology Transfer & Commercialization: Facilitating the commercialization of university-developed technologies, inventions, and research through licensing agreements, partnerships, and startup support.
- Post-Innovative Idea Hackathon Services: Helping teams and individuals to understand the ownership of IP generated during the hackathons. Offering support for turning winning ideas into viable commercial products. This includes advice on how to license technologies or collaborate with university incubation or with industry players for further development.
